A New Season, A New Look for Your Home with Juju

Fall is here! Sure, spring is supposed to be the season for new beginnings, but fall's breeze also brings a sense of renewal. Fall brings up memories of starting a new school year, and with it a new opportunity to redefine yourself or set new intentions for the coming year. October is also a great time to think about making some simple changes that will give your home a new and refreshed look. A small home project now will go a long way in making your house look finished by the time your holiday guests start to arrive.
An accent wallpaper is the perfect way to reinvent your look! The great thing about wallpaper is that you can just add wallpaper to your existing decor in order to update the space. You don't have to buy new furniture, new decor, or start from scratch. You can just add the wallpaper that coordinates with or updates your decor. What can be simpler than that?

Elsie Larson from A Beautiful Mess used one of our favorite patterns, Palea, on every wall of the dining room for some serious wow factor. Many people think that wallpapering a whole room can be overwhelming, but this gorgeous install shows much the opposite. If you choose a subtle textural pattern such as Palea, you can create a rich background that sets off all of the other design elements in the room. Elsie said of this wallcovering:
I get so many compliments on this wallpaper! I love that the room still feels neutral, bright and light, but with more texture and personality than a plain white room. It is so easy to decorate around and layer!
Do any of our patterns at Juju speak to your sense of style? Then, now is the time to do it! We are here to help you with your project every step of the way. Are you wondering any of the following: Can this wall be wallpapered? How much wallpaper do I need? How do you install wallpaper? Pop on over to Jujupapers.com in order to answer these questions, or just give us a call at 503 764 7610 and we can chat about it.
Happy Fall from all of us at Juju!

Why Gold is Your New Neutral /// Sale! 30% Off Juju Gold on Cream Wallpapers
Looking for a way to add some sophistication to your room? Consider gold on cream your new neutral! Our gold on cream wallpapers can be combined with any color palette, giving your space extra life and dimension that will compliment the rest of your decor.
Here's a few ways you might be able to use it in your own home:
Sheena Murphy, of Sheep and Stone, (designer of above room) said of Sisters of the Sun:
What I like most about this wallpaper is it's versatility; it feels just as at home in an elegant powder room as it does in a 6 year old's bedroom. The gold adds delicious dimension while still reading as a neutral, and the pattern repeat feels calming and visually interesting all at once. It took this little girls' bedroom from girly to grown-up. Pretty clever design if you ask me.
Thanks, Sheena! This beautiful install from Rebecca Jones (@xobakes) whose mom is a rock star wallpaper installer, Louise Jones (@jonespnp), and made this magic happen with Pas De Trois:

New Juju: Introducing Graffito!
We're so jazzed to finally, and officially, reveal the latest Juju Papers collection, Graffito.
In creating the four new designs that make up Graffito, Juju Papers designer Avery Thatcher was inspired by mark-making. Says Avery of the collection "Graffito explores the simple power of mark-making, tracing all the way back to those who scratched pictograms on walls, caves and bones. The patterns in the collection are united by their glyphic, graphic qualities: gestural, non-fussy abstractions of such varied inspirations as handwriting, a star-lit sky or masonry wall.”
Graffito is a beautiful compliment to past Juju collections, contrasting painterly lines, dots and dashes with sumptuous metallic inks used in the screen printing process. In fact, within the four new designs there are fifteen new colorways available! Let's meet them, shall we?
The Pearl: eccentrically-drawn and arrayed shapes abstract a stone mason’s hand-constructed wall. Four two-tone metallic colorways: Gold on Cream, Gold on Charcoal, Diamonds and Pearls on Cream, Gunmetal on Blush.
Pavlova: delicate overlapping curves, arcs and bends. Named for the Russian ballerina, famous for her sylphlike appearance, grace of movement and expressive nature. Three duo-tone metallic colorways: Gunmetal on Cream, Diamonds and Pearls on Cream, Gold on Cream.
Dusk: minutely-scaled squares and rectangles imprecisely scattered; they appear animated, as sparkling stars or glitter in a rock quarry. Two two-tone metallic colorways: Gold on Cream, Gold on Charcoal.
Bomba: improvisational composition of lively scribbles, dashes, zig zags, waves, and scrawling lines. Thatcher took her cues from handwritten signatures, the ultimate individual mark-making. Five two-tone metallic colorways: Gold on Cream, Gold on Charcoal, Diamonds and Pearls on Cream, Gunmetal on Navy, Gunmetal on Blush, Gunmetal on Cream.
With so many beautiful new choices it's hard to pick a favorite but we have no doubt that whichever you choose, it will be a perfect addition to your space!

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL / WEST ELM POP-UP APRIL 15
Happy Spring from all of us at Juju Papers! We never get tired of seeing the way our amazing clients choose to paper their spaces and have noticed a definite trend: using wallpaper in tiny spaces for big impact.
Adding wallpaper to wainscoted walls means a little bit goes a LONG way. Often it only takes 1-2 rolls to paper an accent wall! Check out these creative applications where wallpaper is used to define woodwork accents.
Adding creative spaces is an affordable way to update your room because instead of buying all new decor, one element (like wallpaper) can update the look in a cohesive way. We hear this again and again from our customers.
We love how Trelawny Davis featured her creative use of Juju Papers in a blog post for Parachute Home. All it took was a few rolls of wallpaper to create a memorable bar and dining room that garners compliments from all of her guests.
West Elm loved Trelawny's post so much that they decided to highlight the story on the West Elm blog - and asked us to pop-up at our local Portland West Elm to introduce our wallpaper to their customers. Of course we said yes!
We'll be at West Elm Portland at 1201 NW Couch St on Saturday, April 15 from 1-4. If you happen to be in the Portland area, please come by and visit us - we will have lots of wallpaper to show you!We are so happy that spring is finally here! We can't wait to hear from our customers as they emerge with their creative ideas for Spring and Summer. We can't wait to help you bring your ideas to life!

We at Juju Papers would like to take a moment to wish you and yours a very happy holiday season! We've also been up to some pretty cool stuff of late and wanted to share that too ...
We're overjoyed to have gotten some recent love from Domino Magazine! One of our fave design magazines, they featured a full page of Juju Papers Pascal in Gold on Cream in their Winter 2016 issue. We love how they used Pascal as a backdrop for styling your unconventional closet.
Juju Papers was recently named as a Morpholio Board Product of the Year 2017 and we couldn't be more thrilled. Says Morpholio, "These products defy the notion of icon in space and seek to merge people with their surroundings in new ways. Their materials and textures evoke the natural, a spirit of wellbeing and even whimsy. And, as always, we are interested in designs that use technology and forward thinking to address impact on the environment,” says Anna Kenoff, Morpholio Co-Creator. We are honored that Morpholio included Juju Papers in their awards which includes some seriously great company. More here.
We're also very honored to have been included in The Next Precedent, a fundraiser for Girls, Inc. that was organized by Spartan Shop. Girls, Inc. is an amazing non-profit that works with girls aged 6-18 to provide the skills and confidence they'll need for an economically-independent future. Juju Papers donated wallpaper to the silent auction event which ended up raising over $10,000 for Girls, Inc.! We couldn't be happier.
As the holidays and end of the year approach, we wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you, our amazing clients and customers, for a great year! To further show our thanks, we're currently offering up to 40% off on close-out dye lots as we make room for 2017 inventory. Do you have a project in mind? Drop us a line to see if we have a leftover dye lot for you!
*Designers, closeout dye lot prices cannot be combined with other trade discounts. These are final closeout prices. No retroactive closeout prices are available on previously purchased wallpaper.

Last, but certainly not least, Oregon Home included Indian Summer in their round-up of notable modern design elements that will help achieve a mid-century modern feel. We love their picks and agree that Indian Summer is a perfect backdrop.
