Author Michele Fifis supplies great content for designers and print-lovers alike - textiles, artists, inspiration boards, industry resources, job postings, etc. It is a great blog, and I am flattered that she chose to include me in her latest post. I was lucky enough to have a lovely visitor from Apartment Therapy's Kitchn a few months ago. I took her on a tour of my wacky and wonderful, teeny-tiny kitchen. You can take a peek and see what goes on when the apron and knives come out in North Portland! It involves a lot of pickle talk, Portlandia lovers.  

What a year! It has been just about a year since we put up the Juju website, and so many great things have come of it! I have met some incredible creative people, worked on some great projects, and have enjoyed a very warm welcome in Portland and beyond. Many, many, thanks to all of my friends, colleagues, customers, and family for making this such a memorable year. As a bonus, I just saw that I was one of Apartment Therapy's "Best of 2011 Creative People". Happy New Year! 2012? Let's do this!      

Come one come all! To The Portland Bazaar! I am proud to announce that Juju is going to have a booth where I will be selling a limited edition collection of tea towels in brilliant colors. It's going to be a gift extravaganza full of friends and incredible designers. It will be held on December 10th and 11th at the Sandbox Studio, 9th and Sandy. Here are the details: great music (thanks to Beacon Sound), great food (like Pine State Biscuits and Violetta), and dreamy vendors such as Una, Woonwinkel, Haunt, Pigeon Toe, Scout Books . . .and Juju! And they are having a bar too. Take a load off, fanny. I'll see you there. XO

A shout out to all of the people tall and small who made it out to woonwinkel last Thursday for Juju's opening party. We popped bottles (Erica), poured some out for our homies (Barnaby), danced (me, evidenced only by some unfortunate and confusing photos), tested the goods for durability (Lola and Nico), and may or may not have had a keg party in the street (Eric). Yes, friends . . .  the party never ends.  Don't let these photos fool you, this party was one subwoofer (Ben) away from a Geto Boys video.
