apartment therapy, "Best New wallpapers from icff" - Juju's Sou'Wester
It was awesome to have our new design, The Sou'wester, to be considered one of Apartment Therapy's favorite wallpapers from ICFF. Thanks so much, Nancy!

I love this lady! Karen Combs of Nama Rococo
I really admire Karen Combs' beautiful line of wallpapers. So much that when I first saw her work I went to North Adams to meet her in person. Sure, she probably thought that I was a little creepy . . . but now we're buds! You can truly see how I get my dork on.
Thanks for the pic, Karen. XO
Gray Magazine, Whereby I give props to Pop-Pop
Gray Magazine asked me where the inspiration for my Salad Days design came from, and I told them about my 90 year old Italian grandfather who has an outrageous recipe for every weed, flower, and root in your backyard. He also has great stories about making stew "at the bummy", (translation, hanging out at the homeless encampment in the forest near the tracks), stealing hams from railroad cars, dubious dandelion wine theory, the list goes on and on . . .You can read all about it in this issue!
Dwell's American Modern Collection Includes Juju Papers' After Chinterwink
Dwell did an excellent story this month (October), about American craftspeople and companies and their struggles to "maintain handcrafted detail while producing fast enough - and in large enough quantities - to satisfy profit margins and consumers accustomed to instant gratification". It highlighted the last man standing in American cast-iron, Kohler, and a few other exemplary American craft-centric companies, such as Heath Ceramics. In addition to the story, they curated a collection of handcrafted goods made in the USA, called "American Modern: Brilliant Design Across the USA".
I was thrilled to be included in this collection, which mostly included furniture crafted by some of our most exciting up and comers. Props to Iacoli & McAllister from Seattle, (and neighbors of mine at ICFF for our debut presentations) who were also included in the collection, with their line of simple, elegant furniture pieces. Dwell chose After Chinterwink in "au colorant" Sunset to be the only wallpaper presented in the collection, and they also created a pop-up shop through AHA Life.com in order to make the pieces from the collection readily available for purchase.
Many thanks to Dwell for choosing Juju, and also to all of the new customers and friends of Juju that have come about since the publishing of the story. Pick up the issue or at least thumb through it at the check out stand!

HGTV's Genevieve Gorder with Juju Papers
I couldn't help but post these pics of the very sweet Genevieve Gorder, star of HGTV's Ask Genevieve, posing in a room that she designed "around the wallpaper", using Juju's After Chinterwink in Sunset. It's a new nursery in Rosie Pope's home. Genevieve said of the design, "It feels really antique and completely new at the same time." Aw, shucks.

Avery Thatcher - In Good Company in the Latest Edition of Luxe
I am flattered to have been featured in the Luxe Magazine's Pacific Northwest edition this season. It is a beautiful magazine if you can find it! I am glad that they printed my props to Una, woonwinkel, Stand Up Comedy, Beam & Anchor, Magnolia Editions, and Maryam Nassir Zadeh - my favorite sources for shopping and/or inspiration!
