Tile Patina

Over time, unglazed, cement (encaustic) tiles such as Fruit Salad, Trapeze and Waving tile may begin to take on a prized characteristic known as patina. This is a haze that over time will appear on the tile surface and enhances the richness and quality of the tile. This is not considered a flaw.
