NEW IN: WHEN THE CIRCUS TENT GOES DARK
OUR NEW COLLECTION JUST DROPPED
Fellini's fever dream rendered in paint and shadow

MEET MIDNIGHT TROUPE
Aptly named Midnight Troupe, the collection was developed by our founder, Avery Thatcher, as she explored Fellini's circus themes. She created two motifs — Curtain Call and Nocturne — inspired by the visceral feelings evoked by watching Fellini's films: the baroque noir aesthetic, the interplay of fantasy and earthiness, and the contrast between the face we wear and our inner world. She likens the emotional atmosphere to a blend of melancholy and whimsy set to the sound of a circus march.

CURTAIN CALL
Curtain Call features hand-painted stripes with airbrushed gradients that fade and glow across the surface. The design evokes the atmosphere of an evening circus through layers of color that shift from light to shadow. The pattern is available in four colorways: Apricot, a warm peachy glow; Dusty Rose, soft blush tones; Spotlight, bright theatrical whites; and Carousel Blue, a dreamy turquoise.

NOCTURNE
Nocturne features hand-painted vertical stripes with airbrushed transitions, creating a moody, atmospheric effect. The design blends glossy, imperfect lines with earthy tones and unexpected pops of color. The pattern is available in three colorways: Gold Black, a classic metallic combination; Tinsel Smoke, shimmering grays; and Rust, deep terracotta shades.

IN COLOR
"These designs are mood-based, meant to pay homage to the visceral reaction to the feelings evoked by watching Fellini's films," says Thatcher.

"The overall feel is sensual, evocative, and earthy. The airbrushed lines are slick and glossy but also flawed and imperfect," says Thatcher.

"The colors harken back to the 1940s and '50s while being totally at home today. A mix of earthy tones paired with pops of pastel and turquoise," says Thatcher.

"These stripes with fading and glowing colors evoke an evening circus, drawing upon Fellini's mix of melancholy and whimsy, baroque noir and circus surrealism," says Thatcher.
